2. Eligibility
By using this website and engaging with The Cricket Biomechanist’s services, you confirm that you are:
- At least 18 years of age, or using the services under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, images, videos, resources, and branding — is the property of The Cricket Biomechanist (Dr Paul Felton), unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any material without prior written consent.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Coaching and mentoring are educational tools intended to support your development. While every effort is made to provide high-quality guidance, individual outcomes will vary, and no specific results can be guaranteed.
5. Professional Scope
The services provided are for mentoring and coach education purposes only. The Cricket Biomechanist does not offer medical, psychological, or physiotherapy advice. Clients should consult with a qualified healthcare provider before acting on any physical or technical recommendations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cricket Biomechanist is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or services. You agree to take full responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
7. External Links
This site may link to third-party websites. These are provided for reference only, and The Cricket Biomechanist is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Booking & Payment
- All sessions must be booked in advance via the website or agreed directly with Dr Paul Felton.
- Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged in writing.
- Payments are processed securely via third-party platforms such as Stripe or PayPal. The Cricket Biomechanist does *not store or have access to your card details.
- Prices are subject to change, but changes do not affect services already purchased or confirmed.
- Ongoing support plans are billed monthly and require one full calendar month’s notice to cancel.
9. Coaching Delivery & Online Meetings
Mentoring and feedback may be delivered through various channels, including email, WhatsApp, and secure video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom. You are responsible for ensuring you have access to the relevant platform for scheduled sessions.
10. Cancellation, Refunds & Service Fulfilment
Please refer to the Refund Policy for full details. In brief:
- Single sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
- Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.
- Refunds for packages are pro-rated, less a 10% admin fee.
- If The Cricket Biomechanist is unable to fulfil a service, a full or partial refund will be offered as appropriate.
11. Video Use and WhatsApp Communication
Video content may be shared via WhatsApp or similar platforms for the purpose of feedback and coach development. By submitting videos:
- You confirm that all necessary permissions have been obtained from the individuals featured, or their legal guardian if under 18.
- You retain ownership of the footage, and The Cricket Biomechanist agrees to store and use it securely, solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed service.
- No footage will be shared externally without your explicit consent.
All WhatsApp communications (including video, text, and voice messages) will be permanently deleted within 6 months of the end of the mentoring relationship, unless retention is required by law.
12. Data Retention
Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary to provide the agreed services, meet legal obligations, and resolve any potential disputes. Unless otherwise legally required, data will be deleted within 12 months of the conclusion of the coaching or mentoring engagement.
13. Communication & Consent
By submitting your information or booking a service, you consent to being contacted for coaching-related communication, including session reminders, updates, and resources via email, phone, or messaging apps such as WhatsApp.
14. Personal Representation
All services are delivered by Dr Paul Felton in an individual, independent capacity. He does not act on behalf of any other organisation, institution, or employer, and all views, materials, and recommendations are his own.
15. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published on this page, and continued use of the site signifies your acceptance of those updates.
